Sweden vs Serbia: prediction for the Nations League match

Sweden national team put up a decent performance at Euro 2020, beating Poland, Slovakia and Spain in the group stage. However, the Yellow-Blues were unable to get past the first play-off round, where they got eliminated by Ukraine, who scored a decisive goal at 120th minute. 

Janne Andersson's men also tallied five victories in eight matches of the World Cup qualification, which brought a 2nd place in the standings and a spot in the knock-out phase. Scandinavian team managed to beat the Czech Republic in the semi-final and suffered a defeat to Poland in the final (0:2). In the first Nations League match Sweden managed to beat Slovenia (2:0), but then suffered a defeat to Norway (1:2). 

Serbia national team is looking nowhere but up. They are currently 25th in the FIFA rankings. Team got unlucky with a draw in the Euro 2020 qualification, but in the 2022 World Cup qualification the White Eagles have recorded six victories and two draws, delivering 20 points and a top spot in the standings. 

These results brought a ticket to Qatar for the World Cup and started the Nations League with a good mood. Serbian side failed to beat Norway (0:1), but then secured a victory over Slovenia (4:1).
